What we believe about...
...The Bible. It is the authoritative and final word of God, Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit. He is holy and sovereign in all His ways. He perfectly
displays both love and wrath, grace and justice. He alone is Creator,
Governor and Saviour.
...Sin. Sin has ruined our world. We are all born with a sinful nature that
soon shows itself in sinful behaviour. We break God's laws and therefore
stand guilty and condemned before His holy and just gaze. We have a
problem of a bad heart and a bad record.
...Salvation. There is hope for sinners! God sent His son Jesus Christ
into our world to become a substitute for sinners. Jesus lived a perfect
life, the kind we ought to live but can't. Jesus died on the cross, bearing
the eternal wrath of God for sinners. God now commands us to turn in
repentance from our sins and believe in the risen Saviour as our only hope
of acceptance before Him. Those who do so are immediately forgiven and
adopted into God's family. God begins to work in their lives to make them
like Jesus. This work will be completed when Jesus returns and they will
live with Him forever in the new heavens and new earth!
