The SGF is a community of local Baptist churches which seeks to create opportunities for people to engage in joyful Christian fellowship, uplifting and insightful study of God’s inspired Word, productive collaboration on critical issues and effective community outreach that is both evangelical and practical.

The Canadian Carey Family Conference is held at Braeside Camp and Conference Centre in Paris Ontario the second week prior to Labour Day Weekend. A special speaker is featured in the evenings where he speaks on a theme throughout the week. There are also age specific sessions in the mornings. Since 1927 hundreds of graduates of The Toronto Baptist Seminary and Bible College have entered Christian service. Their alumni serve the Lord across Canada with the Sovereign Grace Baptist Churches in Canada, the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada, the Korean Church in Canada, other Baptist churches across Canada and the USA, and throughout the world in more than thirty countries.
